Fair Random Selection & Client-Side Execution

Random Winner Picker uses the native Web Cryptography API (window.crypto.getRandomValues) to generate true unbiased entropy rather than predictable pseudo-random formulas. Winners are drawn locally in your browser using unbiased Web Cryptography with zero server uploads. Repeated lines represent multiple chances. Your data and lists are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to external servers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about random draws, weighted chances, and multi-winner selections.

Is the Random Winner Picker free to use?
Yes. The Random Winner Picker is 100% free with unlimited draws, multiple winners support, and zero ads.
How are winners selected?
Winners are selected using the browser’s native Web Cryptography API (window.crypto.getRandomValues), ensuring unbiased hardware entropy and mathematically fair draws.
Can I pick multiple winners at once?
Yes. You can specify any number of winners. By default, selection is performed without replacement so no one wins twice in the same draw.
Can duplicate entries increase someone’s chance?
Yes. By default, repeated lines represent multiple entry chances (e.g. 3 lines for one name gives 3× probability). If you want 1 entry per person, enable "Remove duplicate entries automatically" in Advanced Options.
Can I remove winners from the list after each draw?
Yes. Turn on "Remove selected winners from list after drawing" in Advanced Options. As you draw rounds, winners are removed from the active pool, and you can restore the full list anytime with 1 click.
Are my entries or winner names sent to a server?
No. All calculations run locally in your web browser. Your entry lists remain completely private on your device.
