How are names selected randomly?

We use the native Web Cryptography API (window.crypto.getRandomValues) with an unbiased Fisher-Yates shuffle. Every entry in your list has an identical mathematical probability of being selected.

Can I pick multiple names at once?

Yes. Enter the desired number of winners in the "How Many Names to Pick?" input. You can copy the chosen winners all at once or individually.

Can the same name be picked twice in a single draw?

No. When picking multiple names, selection happens without replacement. Each winner in the draw will be distinct.

Can I remove a winner after selection?

Yes. Open "Advanced Options" and enable "Remove selected names after picking". Winners will be automatically removed from the active pool for sequential drawings. You can click "Restore Names" at any time to recover the full original list.

Are the names I enter uploaded or stored on a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your entered names are never sent to our servers. Recent pick results are saved exclusively in your device’s local browser storage.
